week 1 Match Report

DESL Season 1 is ending in two weeks so time to start preparing for season 2, division 2 and new managers. At the moment we have 9 new div 2 managers, so three places open. Question 1 is off course, you all signed up, are y all still wanting to play ;-) .

Next task for y is to form a team. Some off y already sent it in, but I am giving y the chance to review your choices. I will attach the excelfile where y can fill in your players, positions, teamname, stadium name and your choices for assistents in the game. Info you can find in the rulesbook and I will also ask experienced managers to give some advice, y can see what I understand with experience in the cc section of this mail,

The planning I have made for DESL is this,

28 march: Season 1 ends at 28 of march with the DESL cup final

1 april: Deadline sending in Div 2 teams. The excelfile

2 april season aging for all div 1 teams

6 april Deadline div 1 Teams, sending in youth players, use the excelsheet included

12 april Div 1 and Div 2 rosters out.

13-20 april period for playing friendly’s

26 april first EB deadline for season 2

How much NSL must I field? A question always coming back in starting leagues, even in the probeleague. I wanna hold to what is in the rulesbook, the rule about div 2 teams telling 70 nsl. One of the reasons starting with 28 players was that managers could field a competitive team, so 70 NSL is the absolute minimum. When y find this a problem, contact me.

League and cupficture

League and cupfixture are up. I have 4 desl teams competing in the cup, in this first round at an avg of 7,5 nsl. DESL teams in the next cup round (so not in the next first round leg) will compete with an avg of nsl 8, so beat them!

The planning is to give you all the new rosters this week. I have set
up a new database for players, so I can load the teams, players,
stadiums etc.
After everyone has got his roster, I am planning three deadlines for
friendly´s. For every deadline you can play two games,
counting......, 6 games in the preseason where y can figure out your cap, stats etc,.

For trades, I will not accept them before I opened the trade season.
That date will be on the website too,

The rulessection. I will alter some things in the rulessection, but
this will not affect tactics, styles and positions. I am working on
names for the pricemoney etc. So, windowdressing ;-)

I think de deadline for week 1 will be at 21 or 22 th of September.
Two off the managers will be back from there vacation. Second
deadline will be 2 th of October, remember that, my 40 th birthday.
From that date we will play every week one game,

Gentlemen,

The probeleague DESL is almost done. Its time for all managers to think about their new team, the stadiumname, their assistents, futuretactics and what age players on what positions. Included is a excelsheet where y can put all the information I need.

We follow the saeflrules, see als the rulessection at the website. Take notice of the max playerpositions y can field
You can pick 28 players, rosterform y can pick is excel , htm or textform.
Take your time next week to think about your squad, I bet the start of the RL footballseason will influence your choise and picking names.
Deadline sending in teams; Saturday, 27 august

At the moment we have 9 diehards of managers, that is, I am sure we will start with these 9. I am working hard on the last three places. Notice, we will start!
Look around if y can find some new managers, we will make them feel welcome.

About trading, preseason trading. I will put a date and time on the transferlist when the tradingmarket will be open. Only after that time you can start sending me tradingemails. Trading will be efective after week 1.
All teams start with new players, so also the managers from the probeleague.
I will put the info i send also on the website, as a reminder for us all, I will use a managersinfopage,
